Creating a DIY fall wreath using items from Dollar Tree and a pizza pan can be a fun and budget-friendly craft project. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you make one:
Materials You’ll Need:
- Dollar Tree pizza pan (or any circular base)
- Faux fall foliage (such as leaves, berries, pumpkins, and flowers)
- Nautical Rope
- Fall Patterned Craft Fabric
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Mod Podge
- Foam Paint Brush
- Scissors
- Fall Sign
Steps:
Measure the fall craft fabric:
Measure your fall patterned fabric to fit your pizza pan, and then cut it. Don’t worry about any imperfections when cutting, as it will be covered up with the nautical rope. Once you have the perfect fit, remove the fabric and apply mod podge. Next place the fabric on top and smooth it out. Allow the mod podge to dry.
Add Nautical Rope:
Once the mod podge has dried, attach nautical rope around the outer edge of the pizza pan. This will help cover up any imperfections, and also give your wreath a rustic look.
Arrange the Foliage and Pumpkin:
Start by taking your faux fall foliage and arrange it around the outer edge of the top of the pizza pan. You can use a combination of leaves, berries, pumpkins, and flowers. Overlap them slightly to create a lush look. I found a fall sign and simply removed the pumpkin to place in the center of the pizza pan.
Secure the Foliage and Pumpkin:
Use hot glue to secure the foliage to the pizza pan. For this fall wreath, I used orange and cream colored flowers, and cream colored and glitter orange pumpkins. Make sure everything is secure and won’t fall off. Attach pumpkin to the center with hot glue.
Attach String Beads:
String wood beads onto some twine to use as a wreath hanger. Cut two strips of ribbon and place each one over the ends of the twine. Secure your hanger on the back of your pizza pan using the ribbon and hot glue.
Optional: Add Extras:
You can further personalize your wreath by adding other Dollar Tree finds like small pinecones, or miniature scarecrows. Simply attach these items using hot glue.
Hang Your Wreath:
Hang your DIY fall wreath on your front door, above a fireplace, or anywhere else you’d like to display it. You can use a wreath hanger or a piece of twine to attach it securely.
Remember to get creative with your design and personalize it to fit your style. This Dollar Tree Pizza Pan DIY Fall Wreath can be a rustic and welcoming addition to your fall decor, and the fact that it’s made with Dollar Tree items makes it budget-friendly too!
