Are you looking for coffee bar ideas for your kitchen counter? Creating a coffee bar on your kitchen counter is a great way to save that much needed space you need in your kitchen. If you are a coffee lover and want to save money on those daily trips to Starbucks or another local coffee shop you love. I suggest creating it yourself in your own kitchen.

Although, I don’t drink coffee every single day, I must confess I lovveeee Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha. And would sometimes frequent Starbucks more often than I have wanted to.

Not only do those trips cost money, but for me the closest Starbucks to my home is about 20 minutes away. So, I was spending a minimum of $5 twice a week or more with an average trip taking about 45 to 50 minutes.

I no longer want to spend that kind of money or time. So I decided to make my own little coffee shop right in my kitchen. I recently remodeled my kitchen and chose to go for an upscale hotel look and feel.

You know what I mean, the really nice hotels or resorts you stay at on vacation with breakfast included.

With that in mind, not only did I do a coffee bar, but I also added typical things my family and I would eat for breakfast to the bar.

I have two little kids and this idea has been so great. They are able to grab something on their own on mornings when I don’t cook breakfast. This is especially helpful during the week when school is in.

Not only does this promote independence for them, but it also saves me time. My kids are 8 and 4 and still need a lot of hands on help.

When planning the perfect coffee bar/breakfast bar for your own kitchen, consider the items you must have. Also, be sure to keep in mind how big your counter is, and how many things you will actually be able to place on it. I actually looked at the dimensions on all the items you see here to ensure I would have enough space. And I highly recommend you do the same thing. If you are building a new home be sure to design your kitchen counter big enough to create the look you want.

Because I did not want my counter cluttered, I placed things such as coffee cups, sugar, etc. in the cabinets above my counter.

Below You Will See a List of All the Items I have on My Coffee Bar with links for you to Purchase Yourself if You Want a Similar Look:

My coffee bar has a Keurig K-Cafe Coffee Maker that can be found on Amazon.

This particular Keurig machine makes lattes, cappuccinos, regular coffee, and for my kids I usually make them a nice cup of hot chocolate. You see it serves all my family well. My husband doesn’t drink coffee. However, he sure will enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate with the kiddos. The reviews for this Keurig machine were great and I must say I agree. If this Keurig is too big for your counter, you can purchase a Keurig K-mini that comes in several awesome colors or the Classic Keurig on Amazon.

The next item beside my Keurig machine is a K-cup Carousel Holder.

I wanted a k-cup holder that was taller versus being wider to save space. Finding this k-cup carousel holder on Amazon was great as it had several great reviews and had the black color I wanted. I’m able to hold k-cups at a time and it spins around so I can easily find what I want. You can find it here on Amazon.

Have a quote in sight that will encourage you each and every time you set foot in your kitchen.

The adorable framed quote you see here that says, “All I Need Today Is a Little Bit of Coffee and a Whole Lot of Jesus,” can be printed out and placed in a frame. I created something very similar to this. If you would like this printable, simply click here to download it now for FREE.

Display grab and go goodies on a fruit stand for those mornings when you are in a rush.

The 2 tier fruit display is used to not only house fruit but to also hold nutri-grain bars, belvita breakfast bars, oatmeal packs, poptarts, or any other grab and go items. I actually found this while I was at Ross Dress For Less. But you can get a similar one here if you can’t find this specific one at Ross Dress For Less.

I love smoothies and also make me one for breakfast many times a week.

I did quite a bit of research before purchasing the Instant Ace Plus Cooking Blender to replace the Ninja Bullet I had previously. The reason I decided to get this particular one is it also makes soups, ice-cream, and other things. Whereas my ninja bullet did not. Also, it has a self- clean feature that makes clean up super easy. I promise you will love it as well.

Last but not least is my cereal dispenser.

I bought this cereal dispenser with the kids in mind and it probably is what my friends and family comment on the most. It comes in single or dual and is available in black, white, red and silver. But I bought the black one of course to go with the other items on my kitchen counter.

It is really simple to use.

I just fill in the two different containers with cereal.

When the kids or my husband and I want cereal, we place a bowl underneath and turn the knob. This is so easy to use even my 4 year old can get his own cereal without any help. I am telling you this probably will be your favorite item if you have little kids. I have to admit my husband and I also use this, so it’s not just for kids, it’s for anyone who likes to eat cereal.

This coffee bar on our kitchen counter with breakfast items has been such an awesome thing that my family loves. It looks great and is also very functional to help meet our daily needs. It also helps us to eat breakfast. Even if we are running behind and don’t have time, we can grab something to go. I hope this has inspired you to recreate a coffee bar you will love!
