5 Stress-Free Ways To Find Cheap
    Last-Minute Christmas Gifts

No matter how hard you try, inevitably you will forget someone on your list. You may have every intention of getting all your Christmas shopping done early, but somehow once again you have waited until the very last minute.

Now panic has set in and you’re trying to figure out how to buy for everyone on your list when Christmas is just a few days away.

Or maybe today is Christmas Eve and you are searching tirelessly for the perfect gift! I know, I know we have all been there.

I have encountered both scenarios, by either forgetting someone on my list even though I planned early and just knew I had everyone accounted for. And I have had times where I was still doing Christmas shopping the day or days before Christmas.

Needless to say, waiting until the last minute to buy Christmas gifts can be so stressful. In addition, it may be difficult to find any ‘good’ gifts remaining as now you are left with whatever is leftover to choose from.

But don’t lose hope, there is a way to get great Christmas gifts that are also really inexpensive. Here are a few tips I have found to be super helpful and take the stress out of shopping for Christmas gifts at the very last minute!

    1. Shop Amazon (Open a Prime Account)

I love Amazon Prime, and I cannot tell you the countless times I have relied on Amazon to find great inexpensive gifts that I need delivered FAST. Because a lot of times you can find better deals online, this is my preferred method of shopping.

And Amazon literally has any and everything you are looking for. The secret to receiving your items in 1 to 2 days and avoiding delivery fees is to open a prime account. If you don’t have a Prime Account with Amazon, let me tell you a little about what it entails.

As a Prime member, you receive additional benefits that non-prime members don’t get for a small fee each month.

Some of the benefits include free shipping on all ‘Prime’ items and quick delivery usually in 2 days but some items may even be delivered in 1 day.

However, if you don’t currently have a Prime account and want to try it out, Amazon offers 30 day FREE trials.  Simply click here to sign up and test it out.

What better time to see if this is for you than during the busiest shopping time of the year. Plus enjoy all the other benefits such as Prime TV.

I have been a Prime member for many years and Amazon is typically my go-to when I need something shipped fast, plus I hate paying delivery fees so being a Prime member is a great option for me.

Shopping online allows me to do most of my Christmas shopping in the comfort of my own home and avoid the busy crowds! Start your FREE 30 day trial now.

    2. When In Doubt, Just DIY

There are so many DIY Christmas Gift Ideas you can do at the last minute that are quick, easy, and cheap. Remember making gifts yourself, especially for several people can be a great option for your budget.

So if you’re in need of last minute Christmas Gifts for coworkers, neighbors, teachers, parents, and even need a few more stockings stuffers for kids, here are several cheap ideas you can make with items you can pick up from your local Dollar Stores that you can do fast, and these are ideas they will actually love and use!

    3. Wait Until After Christmas To Buy

For out of town family members or people you won’t see until the day or days after Christmas, just wait until then to buy their Christmas gifts. Here is why, you will not be able to give them their gifts on Christmas Day anyway.

Therefore, why stress yourself out looking for a gift for them when you can buy what you actually need for the people you will see on Christmas Day and shop for them later.

Also most stores drastically discount their remaining Christmas Gifts at 50% off or more. Let’s take Walmart for example, my mom and I love to shop there after Christmas as all the gift sets are really cheap at this time.

Not only will the receiver of the gift think you got them something really expensive, but you may also find some things for yourself!

    4. Gifts Cards To The Rescue

Gift cards are definitely my favorite type of gift to give when I am in a serious time crunch. And no you don’t have to spend a lot of money on Gift cards.

If you have several people to buy for you can grab a few $5 Gift cards from Starbucks and even have Starbucks give you a Starbucks cup and a brown Gift bag to put it all in.

Other cheap gift cards you can buy are Sonic, Amazon e-gift cards or print at home gift cards starting at $1, Target, Walmart, McDonalds, and more. $5 Gift cards are especially great when buying for teachers and coworkers.

You can add a personalized touch to make it a little more special such as putting the Gift Card in a mug or tumbler if it’s a drink gift card, add some candy, wrap it up in cellophane, and tie pretty ribbon around it.

Not only is this a cheap solution, but you know 9 times out of 10 it won’t sit in their closet waiting to be regifted. A gift card is something they will actually use.

If you have more cash to spare for higher priced gift cards for mom, dad, or your spouse , Visa Gift Cards are an excellent choice since they can buy whatever they want with it!

    5. The Dollar Store Saves the Day

Dollar Tree has so many neat things you can buy for just $1. You can create amazing gift baskets and or other handy gifts everyone on your list will love.

As discussed in #4, placing gift cards in tumblers and coffee mugs is a great way to present a gift card gift to someone.

Dollar Tree sells Christmas mugs and tumblers. They also have candy and ribbon, allowing you to get everything in one place for just a few bucks.
