Gather Supplies
Before diving into this fun and easy craft, it’s important to gather all the necessary supplies. You’ll need a pizza pan, which can be found at Dollar Tree, a red, white, and blue napkin, a foam paintbrush, and mod podge to create the base.
You also need a mini craft iron, nautical rope, hot glue gun, and any additional decorations you’d like to add (such as a bow or foam stars).
You can see the full supply list above of what I used to make this wreath. Once you have all your supplies, it’s time to prepare your work space!
Prepare Your Work Space
Ensure that the area you work in is clean and tidy, and that you have enough space to work comfortably without any obstructions.
It’s good to lay down some newspaper or a protective cover to avoid any accidental spills or smudges. I didn’t do this as I did not use any paint, but I have done so with other projects.
Make sure you have enough space to move around and access your supplies easily throughout the crafting process. By preparing your workspace in advance, you can ensure a hassle-free crafting experience and a smoother workflow.
Now that your supplies and work space are ready, it’s time to start creating your Fourth of July pizza pan wreath!
Step-by-Step Instructions
To create your own pizza pan wreath, follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Start by spreading mod podge to the entire center of your pizza pan with a foam paint brush and let it dry. This is needed to attach your napkin in the next step. You can use the foam paint brush to remove some of the excess glue before it drys if needed.
For some reason, my Dollar Tree did not have any mod podge, and because I needed to complete this wreath right away, I ran to Hobby Lobby next door to grab some. I did check Amazon and I noticed they have modge podge for the same price.
This is something I will keep in mind as I am always ordering from Amazon, and with me being a Prime Member, I enjoy free shipping, and usually receive my orders the same day, next day, or within 2 days.

2. Once the glue is dry, put one napkin from your 24 pack over the center. Next, place parchment paper over it, and then run your mini craft iron over the parchment paper to adhere the napkin to the pan. The heat from the mini craft iron reactivates the glue for it to stick.
I was able to find this cute little mini craft iron from Dollar Tree on the Plus aisle for $5. However, if you can’t find one at your local Dollar Tree here’s a mini craft iron on Amazon. Be sure to arrange the napkin in a way that covers the majority of the pan before using the mini craft iron.
3. Next, trim the sides of the napkin. Don’t worry if it isn’t even all around, as this all will be covered up with the garland.
4. Hot glue the nautical rope around the pan. I just bought a new hot glue gun from Hobby Lobby, but Amazon has a really nice high quality dual temp hot glue gun that I may get once this one stops working.
5. Next hot glue your “Welcome” sign to the top of the wreath. Be sure to also glue the popsicles attached to the sign to the center of the wreath.
Lastly, glue your burlap ribbon to the bottom of the wreath, and hot glue 3 foam stars to each side. Cut off a few inches from one of your necklaces to use to hang your wreath.
Place it on the back of the pan and use burlap ribbon or whatever ribbon you have to secure it. Now that your wreath is complete, it’s time to hang it on your front door!
Now that your wreath is complete and on display, it’s time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the festivities of America’s birthday!
This Fourth of July, let your creative juices flow and celebrate America’s birthday by creating a unique and personalized pizza pan wreath.
With our step-by-step guide, you’ll have a charming and eye-catching wreath that showcases your patriotic spirit. Hang it proudly on your front door or display it inside for all to admire.
As you inspire others to create their own wreaths, remember that the possibilities are endless. Let your personality shine through and have a blast with this fun and festive project. Happy crafting!
