- Parchment Paper
To make your own pizza pan wreath, you will need a few materials. The first item you’ll need is a pizza pan, preferably one that’s aluminum and lightweight. You can find these at any Dollar Tree.
Next, you’ll need some red, white, and blue garland, bows, and napkins. You can choose to make your own bows using any design or pattern ribbon that you like, but make sure it’s at least an inch wide so it’s visible from a distance.
You can also use burlap ribbon for a rustic or farmhouse touch. While shopping at Dollar Tree I actually saw patriotic burlap ribbon that I plan to use in an upcoming project.
You’ll also need a hot glue gun to attach the ribbon and garland to the pan. However, you will need a mini craft iron to adhere the napkin to the pizza pan.
Finally, you can add whatever decorations you like, such as artificial flowers, stars, or even miniature American flags. These will give your wreath some extra flair and make it stand out. In this tutorial, I added a patriotic sign to the center to really make the wreath pop.
With these materials in hand, you’re ready to move on to the step-by-step instructions for creating your pizza pan wreath.
Step-by-Step Instructions
To create your own pizza pan wreath, follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Start by spreading mod podge to the entire center of your pizza pan with a foam paint brush and let it dry. This is needed to attach your napkin in the next step. You can use the foam paint brush to remove some of the excess glue before it drys if needed.
For some reason, my Dollar Tree did not have any mod podge, and because I needed to complete this wreath right away, I ran to Hobby Lobby next door to grab some. I did check Amazon and I noticed they have modge podge for the same price.
This is something I will keep in mind as I am always ordering from Amazon, and with me being a Prime Member, I enjoy free shipping, and usually receive my orders the same day, next day, or within 2 days.

2. Once the glue is dry, put one napkin from your 24 pack over the center. Next, place parchment paper over it, and then run your mini craft iron over the parchment paper to adhere the napkin to the pan. The heat from the mini craft iron reactivates the glue for it to stick.
I was able to find this cute little mini craft iron from Dollar Tree on the Plus aisle for $5. However, if you can’t find one at your local Dollar Tree here’s a mini craft iron on Amazon. Be sure to arrange the napkin in a way that covers the majority of the pan before using the mini craft iron.
3. Next, trim the sides of the napkin. Don’t worry if it isn’t even all around, as this all will be covered up with the garland.
4. Remove the celebrate piece on your patriotic sign, and hot glue the remaining piece in the center of your pan. Now hot glue the garland around the entire wreath. I just bought a new hot glue gun from Hobby Lobby, but Amazon has a really nice high quality dual temp hot glue gun that I may get once this one stops working.
5. Finally, attach the celebrate sign at the top and bows at the bottom with hot glue. You can add any additional decorations you may want to include, such as artificial flowers, stars, or miniature American flags.
