Being Different From Others Is Your Greatest Asset

God has given each and every one of us certain gifts and talents so being different from others is something you should embrace.

He made you for a reason and you were put on this Earth at this time to accomplish something. You have a great purpose in life and should not try to be like everyone else.

Maybe you think differently than your family, or maybe your friends just don’t get you or what you are working to achieve.

I am very different than alot of my family members, friends, and peers.

And I use to wonder why am I so different.

Why do I want so much out of life when many people around me are comfortable and don’t want to improve their lives.

But I no longer focus on that and I now embrace my uniqueness and focus my attention on my own purpose and what God has called me to do.

So stop comparing yourself to everyone else.

Stop trying to look like them, act like them, be envious or jealous of what they have and what they are doing and just BE YOURSELF.

I have learned in my own life that being different is one of my greatest assets.

Could you imagine if every single person on Earth thought the same, had the same interests, and looked the same. Life would be pretty boring and needs would go unfulfilled.

If everyone wanted to be an actor, we would have no doctors. Or if everyone wanted to be a singer, we would have no school teachers. If everyone wanted to be a professional athlete we would have no inventors.

You see if everyone was the same, many of the things we need and love would not be available. That is why when each person pursues their own passions, other people are affected in a great way.

Now let’s see why else being different from others is your greatest asset:

You meet the needs of people

Do you know that just being yourself can meet the needs of so many people? There is someone out there who needs your help. People can learn from your experiences, expertise, and mistakes.

I have been able to help many people just by sharing some of my greatest wins and losses.  We are all an expert at something.

And when you know what that is, others will benefit from it.

You are happier and more fulfilled

Trying to be someone else is hard to do.

There is always going to be someone younger, prettier, and smarter than you.

    God has made everyone different.

When you embrace your uniqueness and focus on your strengths, you will be much happier and more fulfilled. You will stop comparing yourself to everyone else and focus on running your own race.

    You accomplish great things

Many people all throughout history have accomplished great things that we all are now benefiting from because they embraced being different.

Jesus Christ is my number one example. He knew who he was and what he was put on Earth to do and fulfilled his assignment.

Henry Ford, Dr Martin Luther King, Jr, Thomas Edison, Steve Jobs, and many others have also changed the lives of many millions of people with their gifts and talents and made a huge impact in the world we live in.

    You live with no regrets

One of the biggest things I think about is when I come to the end of my life, did I do everything God called me to do. Did I accomplish all my goals?

Not, did I do what someone else thought I should do.

But did I do what I wanted to do.

When you do what you want to do in this life even if others disagree with you, you live a life with no regrets.
